Salary: Up to £44,000 FTE (pro-rata) + Pension

Contract: Permanent, Part-time

About the Opportunity

Choice Teachers is partnering with a prestigious educational provider in Stevenage to find an enthusiastic Course Team Leader for their highly regarded Supported Studies provision.

This specialist department holds an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating in two consecutive inspections and is dedicated to delivering high-quality Entry Level programmes for young people aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a Course Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in equipping these learners with the confidence, independence, and essential skills they need for their future.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative educator to join a dedicated, supportive team. This is a varied and rewarding position where you will lead programmes, deliver diverse learning sessions, and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure every student reaches their full potential.

  • Lead and Inspire: Deliver dynamic, outstanding teaching and learning strategies that meet the diverse needs of your learners.
  • Student Success: Provide high-quality academic and pastoral support, ensuring students hit their individual goals.
  • Course Management: Take full responsibility for the progress and achievement of students on your course, using data to drive quality improvements.
  • Collaboration: Liaise effectively with student support functions, external agencies, and parents to ensure holistic student development.
  • Curriculum Development: Champion Maths and English strategies, embedding these essential skills throughout your teaching.
  • Compliance: Promote fundamental British values and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment in line with safeguarding policies.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: Demonstrable success in delivering outstanding teaching and learning, or relevant industry experience.
  • Qualifications: Educated to degree level (or hold a relevant occupational qualification) with a minimum of A*-C in Maths and En
