Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher for day-to-day and short-term cover in Stevenage. You will maintain learning and familiar routines when a class teacher is absent, adapting quickly to different primary classrooms. This opportunity suits a qualified teacher who enjoys varied assignments and wants to discuss availability before accepting bookings.

• Deliver the planned curriculum and adapt explanations to pupils' understanding.
• Establish clear classroom expectations and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess understanding during lessons and provide feedback on completed work.
• Work with classroom support staff and follow each school's safeguarding procedures.
• Leave a concise handover identifying progress and any issues needing follow-up.

• QTS and experience teaching the English primary curriculum.
• Confidence teaching in KS1 and/or KS2; please state your preferred year groups.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to settle into a new school quickly.
  
  Experience covering different year groups is useful.
• Early Career Teachers may apply, but supply bookings should not be assumed to provide a statutory induction placement.
