Production Test Engineer - Electronic​/Electrical

Position: Production Test Engineer - Electronic/Electrical (Contract)
Our client, a leading entity in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a highly skilled Production Test Engineer with a focus on Live Build - Electronic/Electrical, located in Stevenage. This is a contract position aimed at enhancing their current capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical testing on live builds, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Utilise measurement and test principles using appropriate test equipment.
Diagnose and resolve issues at electronic system and sub-system levels.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults.
Maintain detailed documentation of test results and diagnostics processes.
Address high voltage safety requirements and ensure all procedures are followed meticulously.
Apply knowledge of RF and microwave technology at the system level, where applicable.
Contribute to the development and refinement of test equipment throughout the CADMID product lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

Experience as an Electrical Tester, particularly within the Defence or Aerospace industry.
Significant experience with measurement and test principles, and associated test equipment.
Proficiency in electronic system and sub-system level fault finding.
Understanding of CADMID product lifecycle for test equipment.
Knowledge of RF and microwave technology at the system level is advantageous.
High Voltage training and awareness.
Familiarity with SAP systems is beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office for technical specification and report preparation.

Qualifications:

HNC/HND in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
