Senior Town Planner - Stevenage - Planning & Design Consultancy

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000pa, dependant on experience + excellent benefits

Fraser Recruitment is delighted to be working closely with a long-established, award-winning Architecture and Planning Consultancy on the hire of a Senior Town Planner.

Our client has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality planning and development advice. With a growing but well-established town planning team, the practice works on a wide range of projects across the UK, including Office, Education, Blue Light, Residential, Industrial, and Conservation schemes.

We are seeking a Senior Town Planner with significant experience and full RTPI membership to join the Stevenage office. This is a hands‑on, senior-level position with opportunities to:

• Project manage planning applications of varying scales and complexity
• Lead Local Plan representations and site appraisals
• Handle appeal work
• Mentor junior staff
• Contribute to business development and future management of the practice

You are likely to have:

• Degree in Planning or related discipline
• Significant planning experience in the private or public sector
• Full RTPI membership (MRTPI)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Driving licence
