Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our RF Seekers Team, developing innovative seeker solutions from complex requirements. Salary:
Circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 4 to 5 days per week on site. Security clearance:
British Citizen or Dual UK national. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The Systems Design team is critical to the product development process, transforming customer requirements into lower level system architectures (Physical and Functional) and system requirements. The role covers the majority of the Systems Engineering V-model, negotiating requirements with the missile systems customer through to the verification and validation process. You will gain a detailed understanding of RF Seeker design and build experience working with capable teams across all development activities.
The role offers opportunities for travel both within the UK and internationally to other MBDA sites and trial locations.
- Experience with deriving and managing requirements
- Experience generating Functional and Physical Architecture using SysML, ARCADIA, or a similar MBSE language
- Experience with Model-based Systems Engineering
- Experience with Systems engineering tools such as DOORS / DOORS Next / Rhapsody / Capella (desirable)
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink (desirable)
- Knowledge of RF/microwave and electronic systems, radar and control systems, and digital signal processing (desirable)
