Town Planner

We’re working with a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a talented Town Planner to join its established planning team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner who is looking to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the UK, within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering planning advice across a broad range of sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, regeneration, energy and mixed-use developments.

You’ll be joining a team known for delivering innovative and sustainable planning solutions on complex and nationally significant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals Providing strategic planning advice to clients and project teams Supporting the delivery of major development and infrastructure projects Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders and consultants Undertaking site appraisals, policy reviews and planning research Assisting with business development and client relationship management Requirements:
Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership Previous experience within a consultancy or local authority environment Strong knowledge of the UK planning system Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercial awareness and strong stakeholder management abilities What’s on
