Your Role:
As an Electrically biased Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will join our team near Hitchin and report directly to the Maintenance Team Leader. You will be either apprenticeship qualified or equivalent. As part of the engineering team, you will be involved in:
- Preventative maintenance
- Electrical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines and control panels
- Attending to breakdowns
- New machinery installations
- Projects
- Make valuable contributions towards continuous development in the engineering team
- Solving on‑going problems and providing long‑term solutions
- Work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, including days & nights
Technical Skills
- Have a proven track record as a Multiskilled maintenance engineer
- A City and Guilds / NVQ level 3 qualification in an Electrical / Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Competent both mechanically and electrically
- Competent with electrical and PLC fault finding
