Calibration & Test Equipment Engineer - Electronics

Join a specialist Calibration & Maintenance team supporting advanced defence electronics systems. This role focuses on maintaining, calibrating, and fault‑finding complex electronic test equipment used in high‑reliability production environments. You’ll work across a range of technologies from DC through to RF and microwave, supporting the testing and manufacture of highly complex electronic systems.

• Fault finding and repair of electronic test equipment to component level
• Calibration and verification of test systems
• Commissioning and acceptance of new test equipment
• Supporting production teams with equipment issues and troubleshooting
• Maintaining accurate calibration and maintenance records for compliance

• HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (essential)
• Experience with calibration or electronic test equipment
• Strong fault‑finding skills to component level
• Good understanding of calibration principles and processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals
• Strong problem‑solving and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Desirable: experience with RF or microwave test equipment
• Desirable: experience within regulated or high‑reliability environments (e.g. defence, aerospace)
• Desirable: exposure to complex test systems (digital, analogue, RF, environmental testing)

• Working within a highly skilled engineering environment
