Senior Systems Engineer; System Architecting

A fantastic opportunity for a Systems Engineer to work on a key multinational project for next generation weapon systems. If you are a Systems Engineer who wants to be using architecture principles, tools and techniques to provide technical solutions for projects from very early in their development lifecycle, operating in the solution space then this could be the role for you!

• Working on a key multi-national (UK, France, Italy) next generation cruise-missile weapon system development project for MBDA.
• Using architecture principles, tools and techniques to provide technical solutions for projects from very early in their development lifecycle.
• Collaborating in an agile environment with multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams supporting technology and design collaboration.
• Presenting, communicating and walking through concepts and technical content to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to the development and maturing of the architecture, supporting design and integration of STRATUS LO onto various launch platforms.
• Practicing MBDA's Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) integrated desktop engineering development lifecycle toolset.
• Developing a holistic understanding of constituent sub-systems and information flow within a weapon system.

• Systems Engineer/Architect with understanding of complex systems (ideally Weapon/Missile Systems) and constituent sub-systems, platforms.
• Practical experience of modelling systems using model-based methods, processes and tools with an understanding of the system development lifecycle.
• Ability and cultural awareness to work with multi-disciplinary multi-national teams supporting technology and design collaboration.
• Self-belief, confidence and conviction to identify and follow through on ideas and opportunities, to question and challenge others whilst being supportive and team oriented.
• Ability to clearly present, communicate and walk-through concepts and technical content to a variety of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Salary:
  Circa £50,000 depending on experience.
• Company bonus:
  Up to £2,500 (based on company performance).
• Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%.
