Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer

MBDA is looking for an Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer to join our Analogue and Digital Capability Group in Stevenage. The role involves designing high‑quality electronics for advanced defence products.

• Take on all aspects of board level electronic design, including schematic capture, prototyping, functional testing, and proving activities.
• Collaborate with other Electronic Engineering teams to ensure integration of electronics within the product.
• Use circuit simulation and DFMEA to ensure robust electronics design, supporting the product life cycle from feasibility through to transfer to production, including industrial validation and quality assurance.
• Contribute to research and continuous improvement activities to enhance the Electronic Engineering capability.

• Experience in electronic design, development and delivery.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team and navigate challenges.
• Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products.

• Salary:
  Circa £42,000 - £48,000 depending upon experience.
• Location:
  
  Stevenage (relocation package may be available).
• Dynamic hybrid working: typically 2 to 3 days per week on site.
• Security clearance:
  British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. Successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
