Location

SalaryUp to £54,000 depending on experience.
Working ArrangementsDynamic (hybrid) working: 3-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security ClearanceBritish Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to obtain SC clearance, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Systems Architect
We are looking for a Systems Architect who is keen to be part of a growing team designing the Mission Planning system for the next generation of strike weapon across air and maritime domains.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with design teams and help evolve and capture the system design using MBSE principles.
- Generate and review architecture artefacts.
- Contribute to engineering milestones and key design reviews.
- Ensure best model practice is followed and design is complete, coherent and drives development.
- Work with the wider Weapon Systems teams to ensure traceability.
- Drive commonality and re-use across product lines.
- Experience in systems architecture and using Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Proficiency with:
- Rhapsody or equivalent modelling tools.
- Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) or equivalent configuration control tools.
- DOORS Next Gen or equivalent requirements management tool.
- Solid understanding of SysML and architectural principles.
- Desire to work within a complex problem space across product lines.
- Ability to communicate and engage positively with cross-functional teams.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Mission Planning (useful but not essential).
