Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer
- Hardware in the Loop to join them on a contract basis for 6 months with possible extension.

Senior Engineer

Location:
Stevenage, fully onsite
Hourly Rate: £55 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance: SC required before starting
What you'll be doing:- As a HWIL engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing RF equipment and working with multi-disciplinary teams to combine RF, electronics engineering and software development to produce new capabilities that enable HWIL to run new simulations - Produce new RF targets for missiles to track, simulated ECM. testing, root cause analysis, design, development, integration.
- You will be able to adapt to new engineering situations and be comfortable in abstracting detail in order to understand the simulation and missile's behaviour
- Radio Frequency design or testing
- System performance analysis
- Interface debugging and system integration
- System design for real-time applications
