Infrastructure Engineer

My fantastic client in Stevenage is currently looking for a solid Infrastructure Engineer to come on board on a permanent basis.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing Servers, including build, configuration, patching, and maintenance, with a focus on MS Windows, Linux, Virtualization and Storage.

You will also work on documenting and automating processes, maintaining builds, and supporting the deployment applications. Strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to handle customer requests efficiently are essential.

Candidates must hold high-level UK Government Security clearance or be eligible to obtain clearance due to the nature of the role. Willingness to undergo SC and DV clearance.

• MS AD, DNS, and Certificate Services
• MS SCCM, and WSUS
• Powershell, Bash
• Virtualization on Hyper‑V and VMware
• Storage Area Networks, FC/NFS on Net App, HPE, and others
• HPE Apollo and Pro Liant hardware
• Cohesity backups
• Tenable NESSUS, Trellix ePO AV, and OPSWAT

This is a permanent role based 5 days per week onsite in Stevenage and is paying a salary of up to £55k per annum.
