Hertfordshire, South East Residential Commercial An  excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our client’s growing engineering consultancy on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a close-knit team working on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, and other building projects.

The successful candidate will lead structural engineering projects from concept through to completion, providing high-quality, cost-effective design solutions and taking responsibility for technical delivery. The role will involve client liaison, project management, coordinating with other professionals and ensuring projects are delivered to programme and budget.

The successful engineer will also provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy.

Candidates should be Chartered or working towards MIStructE or MICE, with proven experience in structural design and analysis within a consultancy environment. Strong technical and project management skills are essential, together with excellent communication and client-facing abilities and a good knowledge of relevant design software and standards.
