Financial Accountant - 12 month FTC

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across both UK and overseas entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing management accounts.

• Supporting monthly reporting processes for the UK business.

• Completing daily and weekly bank reconciliations across £, $ and € accounts.

• Managing sales ledger reconciliations and supporting invoice financing facility reporting.

• Posting journals, bank transactions, charges, and reconciliations.

• Maintaining the fixed asset register and preparing VAT returns.

• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assisting the Financial Controller in maintaining a robust control environment.

• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis.

• Preparing financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making.

• Assisting with cash flow forecasting and monitoring key business KPIs.

The business goes through multiple acquisitions, no two months are the same - you'll need to bring adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

• Studying towards CIMA/ACCA.

• Experienced with control accounts and bank reconciliations.

• Proactive, detail-focused, and professional in your approach.

• A strong communicator who works well within a team and can support AR/AP management.
