In this job, you will give people the most important help they need in their own homes, making sure they are always comfortable and healthy. To give our clients good support, you need to be able to communicate clearly and follow care plans. You need a valid driver’s license and a car to do this job. Please be aware that we do not offer funding to candidates from other countries.

You need to be dependable, honest, and most importantly, kind and caring. Our internal and external trainers, as well as our senior personnel, will teach you how to do your job to the highest standards.

• Help clients with everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, and preparing meals.
• Give the medicine support that was asked for.
• Help clients stay independent while making sure they are safe and comfortable.
• Talk to your clients often to find out what they need and want.
• Follow care plans exactly to make sure that all of your health and personal care needs are satisfied.
• Keep accurate records of how you care for your clients and tell the right healthcare providers about any changes in their health or conduct.
• Get customers involved in social activities to improve their mental health and make friends.
• Follow health and safety rules to make sure that clients are in a clean and safe place.
• Give PEG, NIV, and oxygen therapy, suction, and tracheostomy complex support, including training.
• Work with several agencies to provide holistic palliative care that honours and respects the person who is dying.

Care Support Scotland is looking for a Senior Support Worker with experience to work at our Klibreck service in Loanhead. This job is perfect for a caring and powerful professional who can use empathy and good interpersonal skills to develop positive, trusting relationships with people, the community, and coworkers.

You will help people with complicated needs, such as those who have been homeless, have mental health problems, or have problems with drugs and alcohol. The job requires someone who is confident working in a busy setting and can think on their feet and respond well to changes.

Please be aware that Care Support Scotland will not accept candidates for visa sponsorship until they have successfully completed a six-month probationary term.
