We are recruiting for a Flexible Workforce Booking Coordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Flexible Workforce Booking Coordinator position in the TSOD team. The role is full time at 37.5 hours per week.

The Temporary Staffing Office for Doctors is the central team responsible for all medical locum bookings providing a high quality, responsive medical temporary staffing service to all divisions.

The Flexible Workforce Booking Coordinator actively contributes to ensuring the Trust meets its agenda regarding agency reduction and compliance with the NHSI agency price caps.

These roles will provide the Trust with a high quality, responsive medical temporary staffing service to the divisions.

Main duties of the job

We are currently looking for a dynamic, focused individual to work on a fixed term basis as a Flexible Workforce Booking Coordinator supporting the medical divisions.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with all operational and clinical teams, and external stakeholders such as NHSP and agencies.

The post holder must be organised, self-motivated and flexible in their approach as part of a team. They will also demonstrate good negotiation skills and be able to prioritise work with tight deadlines.

Person Specification Qualifications/Training
  • Diploma level education or equivalent experience.
  • Good general standard of education - GCSE or equivalent
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Working towards CIPD qualification
Previous Experience
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience with IT packages, including word and excel
  • Experience of working within the NHS
  • Experience of negotiating
  • Experience of working within HR
Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to effectively prioritise and manage own workload to deadlines
  • Able to work independently as required on multiple and complex issues
Knowledge
  • Knowledge/experience of Trust standard spreadsheet and word processing software, e.g., Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of AFC terms and conditions of service
  • Knowledge of medical/temporary staffing
