Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Bank Support Worker to join our team working at Cygnet Walkern Lodge.

You’ll be working bank hours, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care.

Walkern Lodge is a residential home providing care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

We are looking for someone who is:

Driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives

Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health

An excellent communicator and a good team player

Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment

Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence

Your day-to-day…Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support

Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way Assist with medical & welfare needs

Report on medical & welfare needs as required

Safeguard all patients
