RTSM Project Manager
The individual is responsible for the design, development, testing, validation, execution, and maintenance of clinical studies within the RAMOS Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system. The role ensures data integrity, implements continuous improvement across all clinical supply systems, and provides oversight of clinical studies conducted by non‑GSK IRT vendors.
Key Responsibilities- May include supervising staff.
- Assess planned studies for suitability for the RAMOS IRT system.
- Configure, manage, and maintain complex IRT study designs, including international, adaptive, and other advanced designs.
- Proactively identify and communicate issues and propose solutions.
- Serve as IRT group business point of contact for technical systems such as Randomization, Container Code, Packaging, and Shipping Systems.
- Draft, amend, and determine gaps in SOPs.
- Raise deviations/customer complaints and associated CAPAs; assist the helpdesk during daytime hours as required, and participate in helpdesk stand‑by/on‑call rotations (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Identify, own, and implement process improvements and training needs.
- Analyze data to drive and implement continuous improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Clinical Development for outsourced IRT studies.
- Lead interactions with RDIT regarding operational system issues and future IRT enhancements.
- Develop a supply strategy to eliminate stockouts, minimize waste, and reduce shipments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Understanding of the development process and clinical supplies.
- Fundamental knowledge of PDS – CSC computer systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and files in accordance with GSK policy, cGMPs, and SOPs.
- Strong computing skills and experience with software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
- Proven ability to work in a matrix team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail‑oriented with the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
- Capability to train others inside and outside the workgroup in areas of expertise.
- Experience in customer relations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, and coordination skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Drive for continuous improvement.
- Scientific degree or equivalent experience.
- Related experience in IRT or clinical supplies.
