Join us as an Infrastructure & Resilience Manager
! Lead the way in managing our critical UK infrastructure and data centres. Steer operational excellence and drive resilience for a seasoned leader passionate about mission‑critical environments and continuous improvement.

Salary: Circa £65,500 depending on experience.

Working model: Dynamic (hybrid) – 2 days per week on‑site or to meet business demand.

Security clearance: British Citizen. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) and a DV check after an offer is made.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Resilience Manager to be responsible for our critical UK infrastructure and data centre environments. You will lead, manage, and ensure the stability, resilience, security and long‑term operational capability of those environments. The successful candidate will oversee critical operational functions across all data centre environments, coordinate facilities service providers, plan capacity, govern operations and contribute to evolving business continuity and disaster recovery activities.

Qualifications

– Essential
  • Extensive knowledge in the management and operations of data centres, hosting environments and critical infrastructure components such as servers, storage, network and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BC).
  • Experience leading DR testing, fail‑over exercises and operational recovery activities.
  • Proficiency in applying robust operational governance, change control and risk management practices.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and environment capacity planning and operational forecasting.
  • Deep knowledge of power infrastructure including distribution, UPS and generator systems.
  • Experience with cooling and environmental controls.
  • Familiarity with building management monitoring systems (BMS).
  • Understanding of redundancy and resilience models.
  • Operational experience of a BMS; ability to interpret electrical and mechanical performance data.
  • Strong relationship‑building, effective communication and organisational leadership skills.
  • Experience in vendor and supplier management of external specialist third parties.
  • Skill in proactively managing incidents, problems and changes to data centres and infrastructure components.
  • Capability to ensure compliance with internal security and safety protocols.
  • Ability to create management information, operational and maintenance procedures, runbooks, policies and standards for data centres and hosting environments.
Qualifications – Desirable
  • ITIL certification or equivalent operational framework experience.
  • Experience with in highly secure and regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO
    27001, ISO
    22301, MOD DCC & SbD.
  • Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCM).
  • Experience with DCIM and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Experience managing multi‑site, national data centre environments.
