Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, is looking for an Insurance Consultant to join our PPS GI team in our Stevenage office. You will provide exceptional service and advice to clients to maximise satisfaction, maintain high retention levels and achieve income targets in support of the overall business strategy. This role will support our Veterinary specialist team, as well as our general insurance division.

• Support and assist your Line Manager and the team to deliver retention and income targets, service KPIs and meet workflow standards.
• Provide on‑hand support and coaching to the team ensuring a consistent approach is adopted for process and advice; ensuring all procedures and guidelines are followed.
• Maintain technical competence with an in‑depth knowledge of all relevant products, market trends and underwriting guidelines to handle referrals and complex work.
• Motivate and encourage the team to maximise business opportunities, promote insurance reviews, identify under‑insurance and meet client survey targets.
• Continuously review and evaluate processes, systems and procedures for improvement and assist in implementation where required.

• Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience.
• Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client‑focused environment.
• Organised, resourceful, deadline‑driven and supportive of the wider team.
• Driven to be proactive to new challenges and positively shape desired opportunities and outcomes.
• Creative and effective in shaping the team to focus on service, quality standards and efficiency.

• Chartered Insurance Institute certificate in Insurance.
