Client Service Adviser

Salary: Starting from £25,000.00 (depending on experience) + bonus potential

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Duration: Permanent

Lloyd & Whyte, part of the Benefact Group, is looking for a Client Service Adviser to join the Affinity GI team in Stevenage. The role involves providing exceptional service and advice to maximise client satisfaction, maintain retention, and achieve income targets.

• Ensure policy administration is handled professionally and timely.
• Provide support and advice to clients throughout the policy life cycle, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
• Be proactive in generating leads and promoting alternative products, advising on potential gaps in cover, and encouraging insurance reviews.
• Offer a proactive renewal service using best endeavors to retain clients, promoting key selling features and liaising with insurers.
• Underwrite scheme policies within the underwriting authority level and referral guidelines.

• Ability to work in a regulated, compliant, client‑focused environment.
• Organised, resourceful, deadline‑driven, and supportive of the broader team.
• Quality‑oriented with great attention to detail.
• Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience.

• Previous customer service experience.
• Holder of Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance.
