Mobile Vehicle Technician

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Mobile Mechanic who can represent the RAC on the road, delivering top‑class service directly to our customers. You’ll work in driveways, office car parks, and anywhere your customer needs you, with a base salary of £38,625 and the potential to earn up to £50,000 through bonuses and overtime.

• Engage customers on driveways, chat with them, give advice, and represent the RAC with pride.
• Perform a mix of servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks, while managing stock, reporting, and keeping customer conversations flowing.
• Make quick, correct decisions for each customer – different fixes, different faces, new challenges every day.

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years’ hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Watford, Hertfordshire – full‑time, 40 hours per week (8:30‑17:00 core, 1 in 4 Saturdays).
