About the Role

Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division – a new era of mobile repair.

• Competitive base salary of £40,178, with on-target earnings up to £52,000.
• Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• 40 hours per week
  , with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

You’ll be part of the Stevenage cluster, covering areas like Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Welwyn Garden City, Hertford. You’ll be out on the road in your local area, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments, with no reactive callouts.

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In‑depth repairs normally completed in a workshop

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

• Earnings that Motivate – market-competitive base salary of £40,170, with opportunity to increase earnings up to £52,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime. Full‑time 40‑hour week, Monday–Saturday availability (8 am–8 pm).
