Location:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the UK Export Contract Management Team for a motivated, experienced and driven contract manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of UK export contracts.
Salary:
Circa £60,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security Clearance:
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. After the offer stage, all successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

- Lead the contract and commercial day-to-day interactions with international customers, ensuring good relationships and satisfaction for UK export contracts.
- Manage communications with MBDA and externally with industrial partners.
- Anticipate and proactively resolve issues and concerns to meet contractual commitments and obtain customer acceptance and payment for deliverables.
- Ensure MBDA's business interests are safeguarded through on-time export contract schedule adherence and robust risk mitigation.
- Support Sales & Business Development in acquiring new business.
- Experienced Contract Manager who has led contract delivery in both bid and execution phases, ideally with an international client base.
- High degree of self-motivation and drive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with an open, confident and clear leadership style.
- Experience of people management in a leadership role and of leading internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Prepared for international travel with an open mind to embrace different cultures.
- Experience of preparing and authorising bid submissions, ideally with exposure in the role of Business Bid Authority.
- Proven experience of interfacing with corporate functions such as finance, customer support, export control, project management, quality, shipping and engineering.
