Responsibilities- Deliver and be responsible for the quality of work undertaken to the required standards, to the agreed timescales, and to meet all KPI’s as set and agreed by the department.
- Support warehouse and storage projects, such as layout/space maximisation.
- Ensure stock accuracy and investigate any anomalies.
- Accurately receive all materials into the store area.
- Check all picked items for kitting and all items returned to Parker Meggitt for damages or deficiencies; ensure Batch/Lot/Serial Numbers are recorded for the deliveries received as part of the receipt process of all goods.
- Goods receipt of materials onto the MRP system.
- Responsible for timely picking and issuing of materials to the manufacturing department in accordance with daily picking schedules.
- Experience using a stock management system.
- Qualification in materials handling is desirable, or a proven track record will also count.
- Production‑focused with a positive and energetic disposition.
- Disciplined and accurate approach to materials movement.
- Developed understanding of stock transactions.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse principles and experience working to and/or implementing lean practices.
- Good knowledge of MRP or a similar system.
- Qualifications within warehousing and distribution disciplines would be extremely advantageous.
- It will be mandatory to complete EHS training associated with the position.
