Production Operative

Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable and detail‑oriented Production Operative in Stevenage to join a busy manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in supporting smooth and efficient production processes, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full‑time (shift details to be confirmed)
Job Type: Temporary with opportunity to go permanent

• Operate production machinery in line with standard operating procedures
• Assemble and pack products to meet production targets
• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
• Perform basic equipment checks and report any faults or issues
• Work closely with team members to improve production efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Follow all health and safety regulations at all times
• Assist with training new production staff when required
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Good problem‑solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑focused attitude
