About the Role:
As a BMS Engineer within CBRE's GWS business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, efficiency, and sustainability of a key client site in Stevenage. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to enhancing building performance and supporting a best-in-class customer experience across the high-profile location.What You'll Do:
- Act as the BMS champion for the dedicated site, with full accountability for system performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Operate, monitor, and optimise Building Management Systems to ensure critical building infrastructure is maintained at peak performance.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond effectively to reactive tasks, minimising downtime and operational risk.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and energy performance.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, internal teams, and specialist vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor on BMS-related matters.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
We are seeking a motivated and technically competent BMS professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and is committed to delivering excellence.
- Demonstrable experience working with BMS platforms, ideally Siemens Desigo CC and/or Schneider Eco Struxure.
- Strong technical understanding of building systems, controls, and automation.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted working relationships.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider engineering team.
