We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our Gynaecology Outpatients department, who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be a motivated and experienced nurse with an interest in Women's Health to join our Outpatient Gynaecology Team.
Your role will be largely supporting the specialist assessment, diagnostic and treatment clinics of Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy and Ambulatory Gynaecology.

Main duties of the jobTo assist the specialist team in providing a high quality service for women presenting with a range of Gynaecological problems such as: vaginal bleeding, abdominal/vaginal/vulval pain, suspected cancer, urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections, bladder pain and pelvic floor injury after childbirth.
To provide advice for patients, carers and staff coming into contact with the Gynaecology Outpatient Service.
To assist the Gynaecology Medical Staff and Specialist Nursing teams to assess, diagnose, treat and monitor the progress of women in the Gynaecology Outpatient Service and to evaluate the effects of medication, ensuring the safe management of these women. This includes Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Urodynamics, Manual Vacuum Aspiration and some other minor surgical procedures.

- Knowledge of Gynaecology Sub‑specialties.
- Urodynamics Certification
- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to undertake teaching of staff and patients
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload; effective time management.
