Nurse Team Leader - Chemotherapy Suite

We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - Chemotherapy Suite who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to lead our team within the dynamic SACT day unit at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Our day unit, equipped with 20 treatment chairs, operates from 08:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday, providing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies to adult patients. At the heart of everything we do are our core values:

We encourage you to embrace these values throughout the recruitment process and in your role with us., The Nurse Team Leader will be responsible for delivering a high standard of specialist nursing care to all patients within MVCC. Able to coordinate the overall management of the Unit. The post holder will facilitate the education and support of qualified and unqualified staff and participating in the development of nursing practice in the clinical area.

You will be working independently/autonomously without direct supervision, accountable for own professional actions. The successful candidate will also take an active role in deputising and supporting the Unit Sister.
