Parts Advisor

Are you an experienced automotive Parts Advisor seeking a rewarding opportunity in Stevenage?

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent Parts Specialist, for a dedicated Parts Advisor.

This position offers a stable, Monday to Friday working schedule with no weekend shifts and excellent career development prospects within a well-established family‑owned business.

• Salary up to £36,000, dependent on experience
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, early finish on Fridays
• No weekend work

• Providing expert advice and excellent customer service to trade clients at the Stevenage trade counter
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade customers via face‑to‑face, email, and telephone communication
• Promoting parts and services effectively to various levels within the motor trade industry
• Managing stock levels and overseeing parts ordering and inventory control
• Utilizing automotive parts systems such as Kerridge and Autopart for efficient parts management
• Supporting the sales team with parts‑related inquiries and order processing
• Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the company positively at all times

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade or motor factor environment
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts; familiarity with JLR EPC system advantageous
• Experience with Kerridge, Mamsoft, or Autopart systems preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and well‑presented
• Passionate about providing outstanding customer service
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the role
