• A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings up to £50,000.
• A guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

As a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

We’ll equip you for success from day one — with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

• Service, diagnose, repair, and conduct checks on a range of light vehicles.
• Provide clear advice and excellent customer service on driveways, ensuring customers feel supported by the RAC brand.
• Maintain and report on stock, to support smooth operations.
• Operate safely and effectively across varied locations, often managing time‑critical scenarios.

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Good earnings and guaranteed overtime – up to £50,000 on top of base salary.
• Full vehicle kit and RAC Ultimate Break Down Service from day one.
• 23 days of holiday (rising to 25 with service), plus bank holidays.
• Pension scheme with up to 6.5 % matched contributions and life assurance cover of up to 4× salary.
• Flexibility: 40‑hour week with Monday‑Saturday availability on 8 am‑8 pm.
