We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and passionate C# software developer to join our Weapons System Simulation and Experimentation (WSSE) team! Salary:
Up to £57,000 per annum, depending on experience and grade. Dynamic hybrid working – 2–3 days per week on-site due to workload classification. Security clearance:
British Citizen; candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain visualisation and demonstration components for weapon systems.
  • Lead experimentation design and development efforts.
  • Conduct verification and validation of simulation models.
  • Develop training systems.
  • Apply agile scrum methodologies to develop real‑time software components for simulating weapon systems.
  • Integrate hardware into software components to provide true representations of weapon systems.
Qualifications
  • Passionate software developer with experience building hardware solutions or synthetic environments.
  • Proficient in C# and/or C++ software development.
  • Experience with real‑time software.
  • Knowledge of configuration control.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery or Deployment.
  • Experience in unit testing and test‑driven development.
  • Experience in agile development.
About the team

WSSE integrates real products, models and synthetic environments to provide visualisation, demonstrations, verification & validation, and training capabilities across the full product life cycle. The team uses the latest technologies to deliver end‑to‑end representations of weapon systems.
