Stevens Point Auto Center is looking for a qualified Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position builds customer loyalty by diagnosing and repairing vehicles with trust and confidence.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in automotive systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Replace worn or damaged vehicle parts, including brakes, bearings, and sensors.
• Test drive vehicles to gauge performance before and after repairs.
• Complete repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about service and time completion.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards.

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to submit to a background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
