Job Duties- Lead and oversee the survey department, including workload management and process improvement
- Perform field work including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking
- Manage projects from proposal development through delivery
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Establish effective coordination with project managers and design staff
- Develop strategies to grow the survey department client base
- Improve efficiency in field and office survey operations
- Complete complex survey projects including ALTA/ACSM land title surveys
- Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license with 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency with GPS equipment, robotic total stations, and specialized survey instruments
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office software
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in surveying, engineering, or related field
- Project management experience with proposal and cost estimate development
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites
- Experience with ALTA/ACSM land title surveys and subdivision plats preferred
- Experience working with municipalities, counties, and state agencies valued
