Portage County Health Care Center has part-time CNA openings! These positions assist in the care of our family; the people who have chosen to live in our home. We have a great opportunity to join our 5 STAR FACILITY and the dedicated and passionate team at Portage County. We have part-time PM Shifts available!

PM shift pays $18.27 / hour plus a $2.00 / hr shift premium so you make $20.27 / hour! PM shift hours range between 2:30 pm - 10:45 p.m. 3rd shift pays $18.27 / hour plus a $1.50 / hr shift premium so you make $19.77 / hour!

Job ResponsibilitiesThe CNA, under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse, performs direct resident care, including the provision of personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and the documentation and reporting of those activities. The CNA upholds the philosophy of Portage County Health Care Center to provide rehabilitative service necessary for each resident to achieve a maximum level of functioning, the preservation of self worth and dignity.

- Residents Rights / Activities
- CNA / Nurses Aide Certification required and recorded as current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide registry.
- Must meet state criminal background check requirements.
- Must attend a minimum of 12 hours attendance of continuing education per year.
- Prior CNA work experience highly desired.
