Platform DevOps Engineer

BHSI is seeking an experienced Platform Dev Ops Engineer to join its Cloud Platform Engineering team within the Global Digital Services team. This role is based in either Stevens Point, WI or Boston, MA and focuses on Microsoft Azure, Terraform, ARM templates, and source code management via Git Hub.

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using primarily Terraform.
• Build and manage application code deployment pipelines, including CI/CD workflows.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure supporting PaaS applications.
• Identify opportunities to automate complex infrastructure, application provisioning, and deployments.

• Experience with IaC languages:
  Terraform, Ansible, Python, Power Shell, and Bash.
• Experience with application deployment pipelines and release management.
• Source control expertise (Git Hub, Git Lab, Bit Bucket) and Git Ops practices.
• Understanding of SDLC implementations, change control, and IDP.
• API knowledge—including authentication, authorization, swagger documentation, and JSON payloads.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as data concepts.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and efficient work with Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus).
• IT Security practices: secret storage, secure IaC code, IaC scanning tools.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, and Red Hat Linux operating systems.
• Container provisioning knowledge is a plus.

Stevens Point, WI: $75,000 to $110,000 base salary plus annual bonus. Boston, MA: $80,000 to $115,000 base salary plus annual bonus. Total compensation reflects relevant skills, location, and experience.
