Bartender - Muse at Sentry

Muse at Sentry is seeking a Part-time bartender with a passion to increase his/her knowledge of contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine. A professional and friendly demeanor is required.

What You'll Do

As a Bartender at Muse, you will:

• Greet guests, takes beverage orders, and prepare drinks as requested.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all customers and promotes a positive image of Sentry facilities.
• Maintain a high-level of knowledge in wine, beer, mixed drink recipes, and other beverages.
• Check identification of guests to verify the age requirement for purchase of alcohol.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare and maintain freshest garnishes for drinks.
• Offer and service the full restaurant menu to guests seated at the bar where appropriate.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Collect payments for beverages served and balance all receipts.

What it Takes

• Age requirement of 21+ required
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous bartending experience is preferred
• Must be able to obtain a certification on responsible beverage service
• Excellent oral communication and customer service skills
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Have or be in the process of attaining a bartender's license
• Ability to work nights. Weekends and Holidays.
