*** The Boys & Girls Club is seeking
** reliable and flexible Kitchen Assistants
** to provide support in our youth meal program. We are looking to hire 1-2 individuals to help as needed with food preparation, serving, cleanup, and general kitchen support.### Position Type
* Very Part-Time
* As Needed / Fill-In Position
* No guaranteed minimum hours### Schedule This position is designed to provide coverage when needed and schedules will vary based on program needs.
** School Days
*** Monday through Friday
* Kitchen operates from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, start times will vary .
** No-School Days
*** Kitchen operates from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, start times will vary.

Hours and days will vary from week to week. Team members may work anywhere from approximately
** 3 to 12 hours per week**, depending on availability and staffing needs.### What You'll Do:
* Assist with meal and snack preparation
* Serve food to youth participants
* Wash dishes and kitchen equipment
* Clean and sanitize kitchen areas
* Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
* Assist with stocking and organizing supplies
* Support kitchen staff as needed## Qualifications### Qualifications
* Kitchen experience preferred
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable working in a kitchen environment
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
* Food service experience is helpful but not required
