BCBA Program Director – Stillwater

Location:

Stillwater, MN — Salary: $175,000 - $260,000.

Summary

The Program Director Clinical manages services in a specialty clinical program, including medical fragile homes. The role oversees program operation, direct supports, person‑centered planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, financial management, and physical environment maintenance.

Essential Job Functions
  • Staff Management
    • Oversee HR practices: recruitment, retention, training, scheduling, record‑keeping, and staff management.
    • Recruitment & Hiring:
      • Participate in recruitment and interviewing of all staff.
      • Hire direct staff members in consultation with the PD’s manager.
      • Approve hiring of direct support professionals and other indirect staff.
    • Meetings & Training:
      • Organize and implement on‑site orientation and training for assigned programs; monitor training compliance and documentation.
      • Conduct monthly staff meetings; attend monthly regional meetings.
    • Employee Scheduling:
      • Design and monitor schedules to assure all shifts are covered.
      • Monitor and minimize overtime.
    • Performance Evaluation:
      • Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports with the PD’s manager.
      • Review and approve annual Direct Support Professional and other staff evaluations.
    • Coaching, Discipline and Termination:
      • Coach employees and correct behavior where required.
      • Remove employees in emergencies; recommend and participate in discipline and termination decisions with the PD’s manager and Human Resources.
      • Manage termination of Direct Support Professionals or other staff as necessary.
    • Employee Safety:
      • Responsible for employee safety and workers’ compensation programs.
      • Monitor compliance; assist in returning employees to work.
      • Implement, oversee, and train employees on safety practices.
  • Program Management
    • Manage implementation of program planning; monitor service delivery and support consistency, engagement, and relevance to individuals served.
    • Program Planning:
      • Serve as QIDP, write and approve individual program plans.
      • Train and assist staff with plan implementation.
    • Records: Periodically audit individual records for accuracy and completion.
    • Program Team Meetings:
      • Conduct progress and review meetings as appropriate.
      • Provide and approve written progress reviews.
    • Compliance:
      • Oversee licensing compliance and accurate documentation.
      • Implement Network compliance plan; manage individual rights implementation.
    • Stakeholder Relations:
      • Maintain professional relations with clients, families, case managers and other stakeholders.
      • Provide regular communication and act as point of contact.
      • Implement satisfaction improvement plans.
    • Incidents:
      • Implement strategies to reduce incidents; react immediately to safety concerns.
      • Review incidents and direct appropriate response; ensure timely incident reporting and submission.
  • Health Care
    • Oversee individual health care planning and documentation; limit illness or serious incidents.
    • Appointments: Coordinate health care appointments and monitor attendance.
    • Medications: Oversee medication system and documentation; ensure certified medication administration.
    • Medical Supplies and Equipment: Approve purchases and train employees on proper use.
    • Dietary Planning: Monitor food service per dietary plans and regulatory compliance.
  • Finance
    • Responsible for financial performance: billing, staff budgets, purchases, and compliance.
    • Purchasing: Approve purchases and review invoices.
    • Billing and Utilization: Ensure accurate census and attendance documentation; monitor authorization compliance.
    • Staffing: Monitor staffing hours for budget compliance.
    • Growth: Maximize census and utilization.
  • Maintenance
    • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and vehicles.
    • Vehicles: Maintain vehicles and train employees on safe operation; address safety concerns.
