Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead an enterprise-level IT, business and process transformation initiative within the manufacturing industry. This is an emerging program pivoting from blueprint to deployment, requiring a strong leader who can model what a world-class Program Management Office (PMO) should look like.
The ideal candidate will bring not only technical and process expertise but also the leadership presence to set the tone for communication, engagement, and execution excellence across the program.
Role DetailsRole: Program Manager
Location: Hybrid, 2-3 times per week onsite in East Metro
Duration: At least 1 year
Pay Rate: $85.26-$95.43/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications
Required Skills- 10+ years of progressive experience in Program/Project Management, with expertise in large-scale IT transformation programs.
- Proven experience standing up or evolving a PMO and instilling best practices across organizations.
- Experience with in manufacturing industries is required.
- Strong background in business process transformation and operational change; experience with IT-enabled transformations a plus.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels, creating followership through credibility and results.
- PMP or similar certification strongly desired.
- Program Leadership:
Guide senior leaders and stakeholders, helping them focus on priorities and aligning program activities with organizational goals. - PMO Excellence:
Establish and model best-in-class PMO practices—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with strong stakeholder engagement. - Business Process Transformation:
Drive enterprise-level process improvements, with an emphasis on business and IT integration, rather than solely technology implementation. - Change Leadership:
Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring team motivation, engagement, and alignment with business objectives. - Operational Maturity:
Help evolve the organization’s business maturity by implementing practices that improve consistency, accountability, and performance. - Manufacturing Lens:
Apply an understanding of business process and operations, particularly from a manufacturing perspective, to guide process and program decisions. - Proactively lead and influence stakeholders, including senior leaders, by clearly defining priorities and next steps.
- Demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills to ensure team clarity, alignment, and accountability.
- Balance strategic oversight with hands-on program and project management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, articulating “what good looks like” in program delivery and organizational transformation.
