Our company manufactures products for use in the telecommunications and utility industries. Core duties:

• With basic knowledge of production processes, performs duties for the manufacture of chemical products and lubricants.
• Ensure quality and consistency in production processes by operating and monitoring production equipment such as conveyors, fillers, labelers and lot coders, carton tapers, cappers, and sealers.
• Meet production schedule, procedure, and volume goals in coordination with coworkers.
• Ensure efficiency and productivity by monitoring production processes and/or equipment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with equipment, devices, or products.
• Gather and arrange materials ensuring adequate inventory of packaging and ingredients.
• Update production schedule and job order documentation, batch records and progress reports.

Enhanced duties include:

• Follow established practices in compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent level of combined education and experience.
• 6 months to a 1 of year of work experience, preferably in the product formulation industry.
• Experience working with industrial equipment in production environment.
• Experience in production equipment operation and warehousing techniques.
• Proven team player with a can-do attitude able to work with minimal supervision once fully trained.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with others.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to complete tasks that are assigned.
• Thrives working in a small, innovative team environment.

There are some physical requirements for doing this job, and they are:

• Moderately strenuous physical activity at a sustained level over the course of a shift.
• Require ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis using assistive devices for moving materials greater than 50 pounds.
• Static Strength for lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying required.
• Trunk Strength using the lower back and stomach required.
• Multilimbed Coordination using arms and/or legs together while sitting, standing, or lying down required.
