We have two open oncology positions, and we will work with you to personalize the position to fit your expertise, your goals, and your ambitions.
An infusion of funding to the CVM is enabling us to build a new teaching hospital and expand our services.
An endowed Chair is available as part of this position for qualified applicants.
Our small animal care team includes 1 board-certified small animal internal medicine specialist (DACVIM SAIM) supported by a small animal medicine hospitalist, 5 primary care DVMs, two board-certified small animal ECC specialists, 5 small animal ER DVMs, as well as neurology, dermatology, ophthalmology, behavior and zoo medicine specialists, and support staff of skilled RVTs and nurse assistants. - D.V.M. Degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date.
- Residency training in oncology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM), subspecialty of oncology, or the European equivalent. Candidates qualified to take the specialty board certification examination are encouraged to apply.
- Eligibility for faculty licensure in Oklahoma is required.
Excellent communication skills.
These are full-time positions with an excellent benefits package, 4 weeks of vacation, start-up funding for research endeavors, and a fully equipped office. Funding support for professional development is provided. The ability to do up to 4 weeks of consultation work outside our referral area is also included. Salary and professional rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience, including consideration of previous accomplishments towards future promotions.
Position is contingent upon available funding.
