At Kingspan Roofing and Waterproofing, the Technical Warranty Engineer is responsible for supporting our contractors and customers through their roofing projects, primarily from the warranty perspective. She/He participates actively in developing all technical warranty literature and documents related to Kingspan Roofing Systems. She/He offers Technical support in our technical processes and warranty processes. She/He will provide technical expertise as needed, traveling when necessary to offer in-field consultation and assistance to roofing contractors.

Will be responsible for the inspection before, during and after projects to ensure warranty can be granted.

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers both in-house and in the field
• Proceed with the required internal and external steps in warranty process in order to grant a warranty to any contractor/customer and the later follow up.
• Analyze all information related to warranty before, during and after the project.
• Support if required, in the technical calculations for the roof system:
  Thermal conductivity, wind load for fastening patterns, Reflectivity, etc
• Support our brand and roofing systems through technical assistance.
• Develop, structure and maintain Technical Documents and warranty documents
• Support in the training program for contractors and customers. Train the new and seasoned members of the sales force as needed, as well as train contractors on application techniques
• Support Sales and Marketing with technical information
• Closely work with the Sales and Specifications team to win projects through excellence and expertise in technical support.

• Strong experience and proven success in technical roles in TPO/PVC/EPDM membranes
• Enough experience in assisting customers in all related with warranty process

Travel will be required for this position, including job site visits.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or related field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Material industry, preferably Building membranes
• Most of the experience dedicated to warranty processes
• Experience in site technical support as well as in-house technical support
• Experience in Technical Inspections on site Experience in calculations of membrane roof materials and installation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in computer-aided design or other engineering tools (like AutoCAD)
• Experience in working with technical people including on-site support team.
