Grant Evaluation Coordinator – COMPACT

Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 8:00‑5:00 am, with occasional evenings and weekends
Salary Range: $39,175 – $54,000 annually
The Grant Evaluation Coordinator collaborates with the COMPACT Program Manager to implement evaluation activities for the OSU Community Wellness Program’s COMPACT (Community Prevention, Advocacy, Counseling, and Treatment) Program, serving Tulsa, Payne, Osage, Pawnee, Creek, and Okmulgee Counties. The Coordinator conducts assessments, surveys, trainings, and technical assistance, develops messaging and awareness campaign materials, and attends local, state, and regional meetings. The role supports community needs identification, networking with community agencies, and volunteer recruitment for at‑risk populations.
Responsibilities- Design and conduct evaluations of funded projects, including assessments and surveys.
- Coordinate training events and provide technical assistance to community partners.
- Develop, disseminate, and manage messaging and awareness campaign materials.
- Attend local, state, and regional meetings to represent program goals.
- Identify community needs and gaps in services, networking with community agencies and healthcare professionals.
- Provide expertise on alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) linkage to HIV.
- Maintain contact with local governments, schools, and community coalitions.
- Recruit advocacy volunteers and stakeholders serving at‑risk racial/ethnic populations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations addressing gaps in knowledge and services.
- Submit all required reports in a timely and efficient manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Behavioral Science, Education, Marketing, or Public Relations (degree conferred on or before start date).
- One year of related experience.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation (in‑state and out‑of‑state travel may be required).
- Physical ability to lift 15 pounds.
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Behavioral Science, Education, Marketing, or Public Relations.
- One year of experience in Prevention Programming, community organizing, assessment, or related experience working with rural and disparate populations.
- Strong collaboration, communication, community organization, data analysis, evaluation, and grant writing skills.
- Experience implementing Public Health Sexual Health strategies and working with vulnerable populations.
