Senior Living Recreation Assistant

Recreation Assistant – Legacy Village of Stillwater

Pay: $12.50 - $13.25 per hour. Basic wage is competitive with benefits including discounted meals, flexible scheduling, paid time off accrued after 90 days, and paid vacation after one year.

Hours: Full‑time or part‑time, typically Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional evening and weekend coverage.

As a Recreation Assistant you plan and execute recreational, cultural, and religious activities for independent and assisted living residents and memory‑care patients. Working with the activities director, you help implement individual and group activities that are therapeutic in nature and engage seniors in the community.

• Help plan and facilitate individual and group recreational activities.
• Collaborate with the activities director to develop therapeutic programs.
• Interact with seniors, establishing rapport and ensuring a fun, safe environment.
• Assist with event coordination and maintain activity supplies.

• No prior experience required – enthusiasm, friendliness, and a heart for serving seniors are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish a good rapport with people.
