Position Summary:

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience in this field, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast‑paced and welcoming work environment!

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements for safe operation of equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 10 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Constant 8 years of experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in A/C and refrigeration.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or associate’s degree in A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO2 systems.

Hourly pay range: $26.00 – $51.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages vary based on skill set, experience, level of job offer, and other factors. Eligible for bonus incentive.
