This could be anything from the supply of a customised online payroll and HR solution to a fully managed outsourced solution.
Working within a larger team, you will ensure accurate and timely outsourced payroll production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations.
You will have previous payroll experience with a keen eye for detail and enjoy working within a team. This role will be varied, and you will work with numerous clients so there is a strong focus on client relationships and customer care.
You’ll make an impact by:
Ensuring accurate and timely payroll end-to-end production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations within payroll deadlines and requirements.
Servicing multiple clients as part of a team effort to deliver excellent service to our clients.
Managing payroll deadlines and requirements of your own personal portfolio of payroll clients
Managing import/export of new employee and timesheet data onto the payroll platform, including:
Starters Leavers Absences and work plans
Variations and adjustments
Salary changes
Changes to benefits and allowances and different contract types
Child Care Voucher schemes
Pension deductions
Processing statutory payments.
Generating payroll reports, P45s etc., using our in-house systems and Microsoft Excel.
Distributing payslips to multiple platforms. Submitting reports to HMRC via RTI.Managing client billing.
What we are looking for:
You will have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working within a team. This is a varied role so you will need to be adaptable and able to use your knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations, including workplace pensions. You will be a natural communicator, who is able to communicate with people at all levels – both internal and external.
We are also looking for someone with the following skills and attributes:
Previous payroll experience; a good understanding of payroll deadlines and requirements
Demonstrable understanding of UK tax legislation.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Ability to prioritise workloads.
Knowledge of month-end and year-end returns and balancing.
Ability to perform manual calculations, as and when required. Excellent attention to detail and clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.
Demonstrable experience of working to strict deadlines.
An ability to work independently and as part of the wider team.
Ability to develop strong relationship with clients / support of clients. What we can offer you:
