Do you share our passion of renewable energy for a greener and sustainable future? Nordex has an exciting opportunity for the role of Wind Turbine Service Technician working across Stirling and surrounding windfarms.

Permanent - Location:
While you will be working from the Stirling Service point, you will be primarily working on wind farms in the Stirling / Carron Valley locations with travel to the Westfield site in Fife. Candidates must live within a 45‑minute commute of Stirling. - Hours:
Core hours 37 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 8 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 8 am – 1 pm) with overtime required. On‑call weekend availability every 2nd or 3rd weekend. Overtime paid at time‑and‑half; additional payment on on‑call weekend.
- On‑site performance analysis and action plan implementation.
- Work closely with Technicians and Back Office staff for on‑job demonstrations.
- Support on‑site single turbine improvements on problem turbines.
- Provide on‑site software & hardware updates.
- Support online and phone technical support.
- Create reports on turbines or turbine components.
- Parameter disabling and alarm change handling when necessary.
The ideal candidate has experience working in the Mechanical / Electrical industry and can demonstrate knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams. Mechanical or Electrical training through time‑served or a technical college qualification at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Ability to identify problems, extract crucial information from technical data, and develop workable solutions.

- Positive attitude with willingness to learn, lead and continuously improve.
- Computer literate: confident in MS Office, in‑house databases and workload management systems.
- Capable of working at heights up to 140 m; fit and able to pass a working‑at‑height test.
- Occasional travel including nights away from home.
- Full UK / EU Driving Licence required.
- Time off: 33 days annual leave including bank holidays. Additional holiday after two years of continuous service (maximum 5 days). Extra day off on birthday. Option to purchase up to 5 days of additional annual leave each year.
