Senior Commissioning Engineer – Permanent

RSE is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to support project delivery across the UK. This role involves control, instrumentation and electrical work—including installation, testing, commissioning and fault finding—on new and existing MCCs, industrial instrumentation, analyzers, motors, actuators, and other equipment used in automated control systems.

• Provide flexible commissioning resources for various projects
• Develop commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements, and risk assessments
• Monitor standards to ensure specification and quality compliance
• Attend FAT activities and advise on system controls
• Commission LV electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, including MCCs and associated field equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and P&’s
• Complete SAT and asset start‑up activities
• Produce commissioning documentation
• Participate in HAZCOMM activities as required

• Electrical/Instrumentation HND/HNC or equivalent
• Proven experience in full commissioning phases (installation, dry, wet, process testing)
• Experience with 18TH Edition
• Previous role with SAP or AP and PTW systems knowledge
• Experience with iMCCs, VSDs, Soft starts, and flow, level, pressure and temperature instrumentation
• FAT, SAT testing and fault‑finding experience
• Telemetry end‑to‑end testing experience
• Profibus, installation and commissioning certification
• Full UK driving licence
